Humans and the earth

I am a stream of life flowing upon the earth.  Moving moment by moment. My heart is unique, yet a gift of chance, a fleeting leaf straggling in the force of the wind.

Whether my creation is by a divine hand or the result of an impossible chance of combined molecules, i see the gift of living as the same. Only the world we forge in our minds determine our worth and that of others.

Humanity repeats its history again and again which is the story of finding meaning amongst our desires and our sense of self. We fight for the things we want to protect, no better than any other animal.

It seems nature gave humanity a unique mind, we think we are better then the animals based solely on our sense of intelligence.

Nature brings humanity viruses killing millions. We create a protection through science and medicine but we fail to recognize that natures is counting on humanity dying, so it can thrive.
With minds of such intelligence we make wars upon each other. Perhaps nature allowed an intelligent mind to be ruled by emotions which may lead to violence, to keep humanity’s population lower. Perhaps our sense of evil behavior was instilled in us by nature as a form of self preservation for itself.

We are organic beings, we are connected to the earth, there may be a deep connection we fail to recognize as we forge kingdoms in our mind whom we choose to serve, rather than know the kingdom of the earth around us. Tribes who lived in close connection to the earth must know something a westernized technology ridden person can not perceive.

We think we need to create solutions for the earth when all the earth wants is for humanity to stop exploiting it and kull the ignorant part of humanity so it can heal itself.
Perhaps at a point in the future we may have to sacrifice our intelligence to find our place on this earth.

Human Cause

You caused it
but didn’t know it
you caused it
but didn’t feel it
you caused it
though you never sought it
you caused it
and knew it
you caused it
because you wanted to feel it
you caused it
to distract your feeling of discontent
you didn’t cause it
but wanted to fix it
you didn’t cause it
and just found it
you didn’t cause it
but just left it as it was

The causes we discover as we live life may feel unique to each of us yet they are common throughout each human’s life experiences. Birth, growth, choices and then death is humanities pattern. Humanity lives best when it shares its mind with other humans. We are our worst in isolation, especially when one is a leader and those around him are too lazy or fearful to question them.
So why don’t we be the cause or inspire a cause which causes others to share their human experience with one another?

Choose to live in the Anomaly for once..

“I owe my survival to a morning three years earlier when dust filled the air and i washed my face, wedged a roll of paintings under my arm, and paid a visit to an artist i never met before”
– Er Tai Gao, from his book ‘in search of my homeland’.

I had a dream last night that i was in some orderly group of guys, who were part of something together, then i had a sudden urge to walk out of the building the group was in and go for a walk, then on my return someone had come into the building and taken control of the group, and the guys were caught by the enemy. Upon waking from this dream i remembered the above sentence from a book i am reading, which i remember stood out to me as significant. I think the dream was a way for me to learn the concept of what i will call ‘living in the anomaly’. For example, Have you ever been in a group situation, where you were around friends or work mates and within yourself felt a sudden urge to do something rebellious, to go do your own thing, simply because¬† you have a desire to try something different? Then perhaps you ignored that feeling and joined in the conversation and acted interested, then went home as per usual.¬† The point i want to bring to your attention is, what if you did that something different?
How many movies are about people falling in love with strangers, or the kindness of strangers. We all want someone or something to come into our world that either saves us from trouble or gives us what we want but didn’t know how to attain ourselves.
Unfortunately our fear of the world, prevents a lot of us from embracing the risk of choosing the crazy liberating idea in our heads and instead we’re settling for more subtle, controllable expressions and actions so we aren’t seen as too weird for some.
The people around you are waiting for something they can’t describe, but mostly they want to feel connected, they want to be heard, they want to feel helpful, and there’s a chance that by you making an uncommon choice, by you listening to your often unspoken desires, by you walking a different path, talking to a new person, helping that stranger in the street, by you simply deciding to make a change to your daily routine, you may find something special, you may be the stranger the other person has been waiting for, so don’t be afraid to live in the anomaly as much as you want to, which is simply; to live with an open mind to change your behaviour and choices, and listen to your personal instinct, rather than silence it for the assumed good of those around you. Er Tai Gao had his life saved because he took a chance to meet with a stranger and that stranger saved him later in life from a death at a hard labour camp in china, so it’s the choice to change things in your life, to question your behaviours and to give yourself permission to make the different, possibly outrageous decisions in your daily life that lay dormant within yourself, which could be what those around you are waiting for, but it also could be what you need to do to save your own life.

Create and live

There’s a moment that passes
It’s a moment you owned
Looking back it could’ve lasted
So check the moment you are in
Dont let it be idle
Know that the moment you choose to take a risk is a moment lived.
Don’t waiver in confusion
Live like you are wild.
throw away assumptions
Cast afar your fears
Then watch your creativity emerge
As you find new places and make new friends.
Have honest conversations and discover who you really are. There’s no time for seclusion. Humans create the best moments together. Lets create a life of living moments because only we are alive. Don’t waste life on assumptions and fears, tear them out of you, it only takes a genuine desire to do so, a desire to tear out your old repetitive handiwork and discover the thrill of a blank canvas ready for a brave splash of new ink. Lets be creators. The world is in desperate need of them.
